the free fuel wasn't explained to us correctly. (But i guess that is a issue from the car rental provider). Everything else was perfect

allowing contact to the operator prior to confirming booking. it would be really helpful if you could request and add a message eg can I extend this hire by a day or return later before confirming the booking. I have often found operators are willing to amend but sometimes they aren't and it would be good to know before confirming.

(1) I've recently had approval to drive a vehicle from ezu but because they rang an Australian phone number while I was coming through Auckland customs they cancelled my booking - an overseas guest walked into the office late due to time to walk off aircraft- I also lost my ferry booking fees - (2) I want to be able to send an email to transfercar-i have submitted a request to drive from AKL to Queenstown (again)but there's no room on the interisland ferry! how do I cancel a booking request? website is requesting drivers for impossible relocations, no spaces on ferry!

Just maybe help if it was all better signposted. We struggled a bit at CHCH airport, wasn't sure quite where to drop it. Tended to look for transfer car signs instead of Hertz!
