On picking up car from Yes rentals I was asked for a utility bill with my name and address on it. When I queried the operator he said it was a requirement of Transfer car. Is that correct? It caught me short as I didn't have said document if I had known prior no problem. Anyway it got sorted eventually.

I think some of the transfer car listings are there only in the event another booking comes along. Despite there being 6 vehicles listed none were available.

I think more transparency about the vehicle type about a week before collection would be good, especially for vehicles that require ferries. My transfer required a ferry to ship the car over from Picton to Wellington. Even the day before it was hard to confirm the vehicle type, and it was stressful to contact the ferry to check in with them whether I needed to pay additional fares etc for indicating the wrong type of car.
