The service from Transfer are was good, but I'm still waiting for my bond to be returned.

Would love to be able to call enquire. Occasionally I have needed to collect a vehicle one day earlier or deliver 1 day later but no option to enquire. I also use imoova and they will contact hire companies and see if dates can be adjusted. They can often make it work. But the service is great and free so no complaints

Excellent and very valuable service. Issue was more with NZ Rent a Car - car was booked through their Dunedin branch, but they did not coordinate with the Christchurch branch (where I was picking it up), which caused stress and uncertainty upon arrival. Additionally, they did not clarify that an airport transfer was not included (as their branch is several kilometres from the airport), which required us to taxi out there as a result.

The people at Transfercar are great...special mention Sila in Auckland and red-haired worker in ChCh who details vehicles on Sunday. The problem is the roads are shot, the ferries are totally unreliable and some of the driving we endured was unbelievable. So in reality the firm's okay butthe experience is s+++

The car rental period was cut from 5 to 2.5 days by Avis and I was not informed until I got to the pickup counter - which is not ideal.

Europcar charged for fuel for a relocation that included a free tank and they have not responded to any requests for a refund.
