Transfercar's interface and booking process was easy and quick - great! Overall we were well informed and everything was taken care of. However we were very alarmed to discover, on picking up the campervans, that the 'excess' was actually a bond - $2500 per campervan! (We had two.) It created quite a lot of stress. In the end we arranged a different insurance package with Lucky Rentals, which cost us more but didn't require the big bond payment. The Transfercar confirmation email said Insurance: $2500 excess, extra insurance available but if 'excess' had been replaced with 'bond' it would have made a difference to our understanding.

The phone ( landline )_ was not routed to Airport Office so I could not advise that I would possibly be Late.. 2. The Bond was not in evidence in the lead up or I missed the fine Print ... So hilite that early in the piece . ;-)
