The pickup details for Auckland airport are not accurate as the actual location is in a completely different suburb to the airport. This created stress prior to pickup as the South Is customer agent kept saying the airport address was provided when in fact there is no airport pickup in Auckland - it's an otahuhu depot pickup.

The website is awesome, easy to use , and Ideally can't fault it. However the fees and extras with some companies after getting the vehicle vary greatly. If the options and the extras were easily selected or displayed when booking on the transfercar website, clients would understand and know exactly what they were booking

My latest car rental - the drop off location was listed as Christchurch Airport while the location was a 5-10 minute drive from it. Based on what I found out, operators can only choose from City vs Airport. I think this can definitely be improved as the location wasn't airport, required extra expenses and time to get to the airport and the operator didn't offer a shuttle to the airport. These information could be added to the listing and would make it clearer.

I found the whole experience quite easy, and everything was well organized, the toughest part was getting a vehicle at first, because it seemed to be on a first in first served basis, one small improvement I can suggest would be a notification system to let people know that some new vehicles are available if looking for a particular start/finish destination.
