I got my car through Yes rentals. I booked a Rav SUV and that was confirmed as a Rav. When I asked them for details like rego to book the ferry I was told it was a VAN!… I didn’t want a van 😕 This also determined my ferry booking as there was only one spot over the whole weekend for that sized vehicle so therefore I had to drive from Auckland to Wellington in one day, not 2 or 3 like I would have liked to. As I was leaving Waiouru it was getting dark and I realised the lights were very poor. I pulled over and found I only had 1 headlight working so ended up having to drive all the way to Wellington in torrential rain with the lights on full when allowed. This really was extremely dangerous and on many occasions when having to dip the lights I just couldn’t see a thing and had to almost stop until head on cars had passed. I would have thought these cars should be checked to make sure they are safe between each hire, as this one certainly was not 😖 Is there other rental companies within relocators or just Yes??

The faster the car company can respond to the request the better. This booking was really good. The prior booking I ended up cancelling after guessing who the rental co was and visiting them but they said they had to wait for head office to reply to the request which hadn’t occurred after nearly 24hrs which meant I had to cancel and rent a car instead.

We brought an EV back from Wellington for Sixt and there was a lack of info about charging arrangements - not your prob but maybe you could encourage them to have better explanations.

I have not received the partial refund advertised in a booking I made 3 June. It's been over a month and I still have not seen anything. I've been in constant contact with the rental company as well as email your support team but still no solution. Can someone look into my refund please
