Hi, on my recent booking I wasn`t aware that Apex Rentals were going to want a $2,750.00 deposit... when I stated that was impossible and not going to happen... I was given the Option of paying $500 deposit if i took out $60 extra Insurance... since i had cancelled my Virging Flight once i recieved the confirmation from Transfercar.... which i showed to them with the amounts of $0.00 to be paid by me .... they THEY (APEXRENTAL) rudely kept on insinuating that i didn't know what i was talking about.... The car rental company should tell the truth! I used a car at Transfercar for 3 days and paid insurance with the landlord (3 × 30 $) 90 $. In Queenstown I was told that if I returned the car earlier I would get a refund for the time I didn't use. After a day I returned the car in Nelson. So I should get a $ 60 refund. But the landlord didn't pay me anything back ...

The vehicle was great. Just tho ... wen we turned on the ventilation - air or heater- a very strong smell eminated, like the smell of highly flavoured food that had maybe been cooked in the camper. It wasn’t pleasant.

I already tell everyone about Transfercar. 1 thing is , I wish I could have multiple pick ups in my profile for notifications, so to have 3 watch’s .eg, Ballina Airport, Coolangatta Airport and Brisbane Airport as they are all near my home. Thankyou Bye Turnbulls Hire really supported me as I was on the road when border restrictions kept changing and stressed me out. They took good care of me and my needs.
