The only ONE thing that wasn't pleasant was the attitude and behaviour of the HERTZ Agent who attended to us. She wants friendly. helpful and made us feel like we were second class citizens as she announce pleas move aside a is have Gold Class people to attend to.

It would be good to see the contract terms of the company prior to being locked into an agreement. We dealt with Autobarn and upon picking up the van were told that there is no insurance on the van and that we assume 100% liability of the van (in the case of it being our fault, which includes things like hitting an animal, or any other subjective conclusion of driver negligence by the police in the event of an incident). We tried to get insurance from 3rd parties but could not find a company that would insure. The insurance companies we called would only insure the deductible, but there was no deducible in this case, only 100% liability. This made the trip completely unpleasant - especially in bad rain. We would have been happy to pay insurance. Autobarn said they would not offer insurance as it was not a rental, but a relocation. Why that difference has any bearing is only something their team of lawyers likely can answer. Was a very stressful trip. You should obtain a copy and read Autobarn's contract they send to relocating drivers and make us sign AFTER we have already agreed to the relocation. It is very nasty.

One transfer was great, the other through Apex was not. You need to let potential clients which rental car company they would be transferring for. I would not deal with Apex again but I would be happy with another rental firm

Chase up the rental car companies when they don't respond to a request... they should do so within the 24 hours but I never heard back at all!
