I had to remind staff at Ace that car should have a full tank when I collected vehicle - so perhaps a reminder to Rental companies re meeting their requirements?

I was told when I uplifted car at Queenstown that I was required to return with a full tank. My understanding was that i got a free tank. I did not argue the point but would like confirmation that I was entitled (or not) to a free tank. I was very appreciative around flexibility re date change we had something come up so needed to return a day early and although Apex initially advised that there was no flexibility on liaising with yourselves that was amended. Thank you
