The instructions indicated a drop off point in Victora st wellington but when we got there the person said we had taken it to the wrong place the traffic was really bad in wellington so we didnt have time to fill up the car and were charged $35 extra as well as the gas for the car at a much higger rate then at the pump, the 35 charge is more then a daily hire which I thought was unreasonable.

Recently I passed on an AKL - CHC relocation because the cost of the road user charges was not made clear. I did email but you could not help as explained vehicles listed by agents themselves. Maybe pass on to listing agents that this info would be very helpful and move vehicles faster. Apart from that, no complaints at all - love Transfercar!

As a first time transfer car client , I wasn’t aware of needing a credit car instead of an eptpos card. I know it says it apparently in the fine print but maybe a suggestion for the majority of people who dont read every little fine print, that it could be mentioned when you receive your confirmation? The other thing I found, not knowing chch at all, was that google maps didn’t help us in finding the hertz office. We ended up at your other place and thankfully they directed us to the transfer car area. We would have found it as we would have kept going around. We had tried to phone for clearer directions but they must have been busy as it was the answer machine. Not a huge biggie, as we had extra time up our sleeve, but might be helpful for others.

The rate of insurance differs considerably from provider to provider. If you could make the driver aware which provider the car is coming from before they confirm, that would be awesome
