Be transparent about who the rental firm is up front, so customers can make an informed decision, Apollo are rated badly with good reason so I discovered on picking up the Motorhome, I was appalled by their customer service and charges for extras

The instructions for picking up and dropping off were of poor quality. I was picking up from Wellington airport and got told how to drive there rather than being given information about the availablity of a shuttle from the airport terminal. The drop off information on the other hand sounded more suitable to someone who had just flown in and was about to pick up a car. Only contact information provided was an email address.

Rental car companies tend to treat relocators as 'pain in the neck' yet we do them a service. There should be $0 excess, $0 fuel and meal vouchers. I relocate because time is not important to me, but I should fly as it is cheaper, and I am treated like a customer, not a pain.

Do the damages paperwork properly on the check out of cars. I arrived at the end of my hire period and I left the car in a better condition (as when i picked it up there was still rubbish/dirt inside) and every single dint and scratch that had been acquired previous to my hire had been charged to my credit card. I guarantee that nothing touched that car under my supervision and am appalled that you are trying to charge me the full excess ($4800!!!) for damages that were not my fault. I wont be using transfer car again, I actually paid $130 for a train for my recent journey as i do not trust your site for hire and never will again.

My experience with transfercar was smooth, professional and I would gladly participate and recommend. I had communication in a timely manner, ease of vehicle pick up and drop off was an absolute pleasure. Great concept for all involved. The only item I would mention is time allocated for some trips. I did notice some In WA that seemed rather short for the distance.
