I arrived and the rental company had given out my car. I had an appointment and had to be assertive otherwise I would’ve had to wait and hour which meant I would’ve missed my appointment - defeating the purpose of my trip. In the end they gave me a car they had on hand anyway.

Maybe that company stipulating that even if you don't have a bond you still need to have a credit card. Other companies I've travelled with don't require one if you pay full insurance. I should have called ahead first

Car company cancelled on Christmas Day and left us having to pay $700 for a new car. This was a ridiculous expense and Transfercar was not opened or us to discuss. The car company was extremely rude. Will not be using transfer car again
