A more useful person at pick up from AKLD Airport who couldn't explain extra charges, told me that I didn't have any navigation and was generally unhelpful. Thankfully another employee happened to walk past and show me that yes, there was GPS and how to use it.

“Transfercar sounds good in theory, but the value is questionable. You’re essentially helping relocate their vehicles, yet fuel isn’t covered, and there’s still insurance to pay. On top of that, a $400 bond feels excessive. Aside from the free rental, there’s not much real benefit.”
